My first project in Next.js, built for a private security company that needed a credible web presence and had nothing.
Security services sell on trust, so the page leans on clarity over cleverness: what the company does, how to reach them, and nothing competing for attention with those two things.
It was also where server-side rendering stopped being an abstract concept for me. A small marketing site is a good place to learn what SSR actually buys you, because the answer — a page that is complete and indexable on first response — is directly the thing the client is paying for.
It has since grown past the single page it started as, covering the three sides of the business separately: guarding and escort, the technology side of CCTV and monitored alarms and access control, and the facilities work that runs alongside them. It now serves the company’s own domain at famsecurity.com.br.
